Daddy, I know you're going to die tonight,

And I want you to know that it's ok to walk in to that light.
I'm going to miss you when you're gone,
And without you it's going to be almost impossible to go on.
But somehow I know that my time is not through,
Even if it means I'll be living my life without you.
I hope you know you were my hero in every way,

Because you stayed strong for us for so long.
